Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Sourcing Specialist I for a Contract with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will lead strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives that support critical engineering and construction projects while delivering cost-effective solutions.

Rate Range: $30/Hour to $32/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sourcing Specialist I Responsibilities include:

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and competitive procurement events for engineering, construction, and professional service categories.

• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial terms to optimize value and mitigate risk.

• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support operational and capital project objectives.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver procurement solutions aligned with business and project requirements.

• Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier performance to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.

• Manage contract lifecycle activities, including renewals, amendments, performance monitoring, and compliance oversight.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or contract management roles.

• Demonstrated experience negotiating complex service agreements, supplier contracts, and commercial terms.

• Experience supporting engineering, construction, utility, infrastructure, or capital project environments preferred.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
