Title:Sourcing & Supplier Relationship Manager
Duration: 6-12 months with possible extension
Location:Miami FL
Salary Range: $30- $32 an hour on W2/C2C
Job Description:
" 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier development, or category management.
" Strong sourcing knowledge across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and manufactured components.
" Hands-on experience managing RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs from requirement gathering through supplier response and sourcing recommendation.
" Proficiency in supplier capability assessment, supplier performance reviews, qualification, consolidation, development, and alternate sourcing.
" Strong experience in should-cost analysis, benchmarking, supplier negotiations, cost-benefit analysis, and annual savings programs.
" Ability to review drawings, prepare RFQ packages, analyze quotations, and create techno-commercial comparisons.
" Experience working with global suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders across North America, Mexico, China, and Europe.
" Working knowledge of sourcing dashboards, supplier scorecards, industrialization tracking, and Jaggaer or comparable sourcing platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities
" Serve as the primary onsite interface between customer stakeholders, suppliers, and the offshore sourcing team.
" Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for mechanical, electrical, and electronic commodities and support supplier identification across the USA, Mexico, China, and Europe.
" Manage end-to-end RFI, RFQ, and RFP execution, including drawing review, package preparation, supplier communication, quotation collection, commercial comparison, and sourcing recommendations.
" Build and maintain supplier relationships; conduct capability assessments, performance reviews, supplier development, consolidation, and readiness activities.
" Collaborate with Manufacturing, Product Owners, Engineering, Quality, Strategic Sourcing, and Finance to align priorities, timelines, risks, and issue resolution.
" Drive cost reduction through should-cost analysis, benchmarking, fact-based negotiations, value analysis/value engineering, and alternate sourcing.
" Track project milestones, service-level commitments, supplier readiness, industrialization, savings, and productivity goals.
" Provide daily updates, weekly executive status reports, sourcing dashboards, supplier scorecards, and category strategy updates.
" Own escalation management, governance reviews, and risk mitigation for supplier delays, sourcing risks, and critical project issues.
