The Role

As our second-in-command, you will partner directly with the Executive Chef to bring our vision to life. You will balance high-end culinary execution with the fast-paced demands of a high-volume, approachable menu.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culinary Execution: Lead the line during peak service, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality, flavor, and visual appeal.
  • Staff Leadership: Train, mentor, and inspire our back-of-house team. Foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture while driving accountability.
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily prep, line checks, inventory management, and ordering to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. [1, 2, 3]
  • Food Safety: Maintain flawless health and sanitation standards across all stations.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef on seasonal menu changes and daily specials.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive culinary management or lead line cook experience in a high-volume, scratch-kitchen environment.
  • Deep passion for approachable, chef-driven cuisine.
  • Strong organizational and inventory/cost-control skills.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain a cool head under pressure.
