Sous Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional culinary skills, and a passion for creating high-quality dishes. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to manage kitchen operations, ensure food quality and consistency, and mentor kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and supervision of kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes following established recipes and standards
  • Ensure consistency in food presentation and quality
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve high performance
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials
  • Manage kitchen staff schedules and assignments
