SOW SPECIALIST

LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA or Las Colinas, TX | Hybrid

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• Pay Rate: $38.00–$40.00 per hour (contract)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST (flexibility available)

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with 1–2 onsite days per month

ROLE IMPACT

The Statement of Work (SOW) Specialist manages the end-to-end lifecycle of SOW contracts and revisions, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution. This role partners with Procurement, Legal, Risk, Privacy, and suppliers to streamline contract approvals, resolve issues, and deliver excellent stakeholder experiences. Success requires strong ownership, proactive communication, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage SOW contracts and revisions from initial review through final execution, including contract redlining, terms validation, and compliance with procurement policies and rate cards.

• Initiate, track, and manage approval workflows in SAP Fieldglass, coordinating Legal, Risk, and Privacy reviews and routing approved contracts for signature through DocuSign.

• Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, business stakeholders, and Sourcing & Procurement teams, providing timely updates and maintaining strong working relationships.

• Identify contractual risks, process gaps, and potential delays early, collaborating with internal partners to resolve issues and maintain workflow efficiency.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, procurement policy adherence, contract accuracy, and operational best practices while managing competing priorities and deadlines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience managing Statements of Work (SOWs), contract workflows, or contract lifecycle activities, including experience with SAP Fieldglass SOW modules or comparable Vendor Management Systems (VMS).

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, solve problems proactively, and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

• DocuSign – Electronic signatures and contract execution

• Vendor Management Systems (VMS)

• Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes and systems

• Procurement and supplier management platforms

PREFERRED SKILLS

• 2–4 years of contract management, procurement operations, or SOW administration experience.

• Experience collaborating with Legal, Risk, Privacy, Sourcing & Procurement, and senior business stakeholders.

• Ability to leverage data, AI, automation tools, and process improvement practices to enhance operational efficiency.
