Spanish Teacher (Anticipated) HS

Silver Lake Regional High School anticipated the need for an enthusiastic and dynamic Spanish teacher to join our team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Spanish teacher to immerse our students in 90%+ comprehensible Spanish input and to encourage students to listen actively, speak often, and take risks while acquiring the language.

• Applicants should be knowledgeable of proficiency- focused curriculum and instruction, the ACTFL proficiency standards, and the Massachusetts WL Curriculum Frameworks.
• The teacher should motivate students to interact in the target language, embrace teaching through comprehensible input, and demonstrate a belief in a growth mindset for students.

As a full time position, this is a benefits eligible position and a member of the SLEA.
