Special Education Assistant- Long Term Substitute

Seeking a 7.5 hour/day Special Education Assistant (SEA) to support community-based transition programming for students ages 18-21 within Eau Claire Area School District. This position is based at an off-site location within the Eau Claire community.

Community-based transition programming focuses on independent living, employment within the community, transportation/mobility within the community, social/communication skills across environments, daily living/life skills, self-determination and self-advocacy skills, community recreation and leisure, transition, friendships with same-age peers, adult service agency involvement, and family engagement.

This position will support transition-based programming provided across non-traditional educational environments including the off-site program location, job sites, and various community locations.
