Special Education - BCBA JobID: 2407 Position Type: Elementary School Teaching/Special EducationDate Posted: 10/22/2026Location: Toms River Regional Schools Closing Date: 11/06/2026 Additional Information: Show/HideThe Toms River Regional Board of Education has an anticipated opening for the following position effective with the 2026-2027 school year:Special Education - BCBA - Elementary Level Qualifications:The teacher shall hold an appropriate teaching certificate issued by the State Board of Education in K-6 Elementary Education and Teacher of Students with Disabilities OR Teacher of the Handicapped Classroom Responsibilities:Develop and implement classroom behavior and management strategies for children with disabilitiesExperience with developing classroom goals and objectives in conjunction with district curriculumDevelop and implement a variety of teaching styles and techniques to ensure a positive and instructional atmosphere for all studentsExperience with PECS and/or AAC devices, data collection, ABLLS Assessment, VBMAPP, Discrete Trials/ITT, following individual behavior plans, and behavioral classroom management strategies for all learners2 years experience in similar position preferred
