Pay Rate: $45.00/hr

Description:

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a school district in Chicago, Illinois for the 2026 2027 school year.

Position Details:

• 
  Full-time, school-based position
  
• 
  Work with 4th and 5th grade students
  
• 
  Manage a caseload of approximately 7 students
  
• 
  Provide academic support in math and reading
  
• 
  Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers to support student success
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
  
• 
  Previous school-based experience is preferred
