Special Education Teacher - Full-Time - SET Certification Required

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking Special Education Teachers to provide in-person services to charter school students grades K-8th. Must have Pennsylvania DOE SPED/SET Certification in grades K-12th. Emergency Certs not accepted. These positions are for the current school year.

Position 1:

• Full-Time
• Hours: M/T/TH/F 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM. Wednesday 8:45 AM - 1:00 PM
• Small Emotional Support Caseload

Position 2:

• Full-Time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-3:45 PM
• Small Emotional Support Caseload

Special Education Teacher Qualification(s):

• Licensure as a Special Education Teacher in the state of Pennsylvania
• School Certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities May Include:

• Implementing specially designed instruction to drive student achievement
• Conducting progress monitoring data and adjusting instruction based on the data
• Establishing a positive, structured, achievement-focused classroom
• Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
• Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
• Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
