Position Goal: Hamilton High School is committed to becoming a Professional Learning Community and this role will require a collaborative professional who is focused on student centered practices. The chosen candidate will be able to engage every student in both academic and vocational learning. Experience supporting students in community-based and vocational settings is preferred. The chosen candidate must be able to build off of students' strengths and be willing to work with a variety of partners in the community, neighboring school districts, and other agencies that support families in the transition process beyond high school.
Qualifications: Certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in Cross-Categorical Special Education (1801); must be comfortable using technology; strong interpersonal skills and experience supporting students in transition-based activities; and such alternatives to the qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and generous benefit package.
