Job Posting: 2nd Grade Special Education Teacher

Position: Full-Time

We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to support 2nd grade students in Phoenixville, PA. This position will involve both push-in and push-out services and provides an opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in an elementary school setting.


Responsibilities include:

• Providing individualized special education instruction and support to 2nd grade students.
• Delivering both push-in and push-out services based on student needs.
• Managing a caseload of approximately 15–18 students.
• Developing and implementing IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to support student progress.
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary school students preferred.
• Experience providing push-in and push-out special education services preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
