Special Education Resource Teacher for a full-time elementary school assignment in beautiful

Position Details
- Assignment Dates: January 4, 2027 through May 21, 2027
- Full-Time Position
- 37.5 hours per week
- 35 paid hours
- 2.5 unpaid lunch hours
- Elementary school setting
- Resource Teacher position
- Location: Creekside Elementary, Boulder, Colorado
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) License in Special Education, or currently in the process of obtaining licensure
- A copy of your CDE License or CDE COOL record must be submitted with your resume for consideration
- Candidates without proof of licensure or eligibility will not be reviewed
- Please note: TEE sponsorship is not available
- Minimum of one year of classroom experience required
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Must be a flexible and supportive team player
- Passion for helping students achieve academic and personal success
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students receiving special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain compliant educational documentation
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence
