Role Overview

The Specialist, Supply Chain Systems & Analytics serves as the subject matter expert for Supply Chain business systems, analytics, reporting, and process optimization across Fluence's global supply chain organization.

This role combines deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, supply chain operations, business process design, data analytics, and reporting to enable scalable, data-driven decision making across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, inventory management, and fulfillment functions.

The individual will act as the primary liaison between Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, Finance, and Manufacturing organizations, translating business requirements into technology-enabled solutions while providing functional guidance to global support teams.

This is an individual contributor role requiring strong technical expertise, executive communication skills, stakeholder influence, and the ability to lead without direct authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP S/4HANA supply chain systems expert across planning, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, and master data.
• Lead process improvement, system optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and SAP analytics tools.
• Translate complex data into actionable business insights and executive-level reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions.
• Support automation, analytics, and AI-driven initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to global analysts and support teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain systems, SAP, analytics, business process improvement, or digital transformation.
• Strong SAP ECC/S4HANA experience, including MM, PP, planning, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, and logistics.
• Advanced skills in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, and a programming language such as Python.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Additional Skills

• SAP IBP, SAP Analytics Cloud, APICS (CPIM/CSCP), Lean Six Sigma, or PMP certifications.
• Experience in global manufacturing, supply chain operations, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
