Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, licensed speech-language pathologist assistants to join our team! As a speech-language pathologist assistant, you will be working with families and their child, providing personalized treatment to help them reach their goals. You will also be documenting daily notes. You will be providing treatment, parent and caregiver coaching and education, and collaborating with supervising speech-language pathologist on goals and progress. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of communication disorders and other developmental disabilities and delays. The candidate must be able to provide compassionate care to every child and their families, and must have excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Provide customized treatment for the child and their family
Implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes
Daily documentation
Work closely with the family and caregivers to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
Collaborate with supervising speech-language pathologist
Qualifications
CA State License for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Familiarity with basic computer programs
