About the Role

Hello, SLPAs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based positions in Colorado Springs, CO. You’ll support K–12 students in strengthening their communication skills and succeeding in the classroom while working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

This is a great opportunity for experienced SLPAs and those looking to transition into the school setting. You’ll gain valuable experience while working alongside supportive professionals dedicated to student success.

What You’ll Do

• Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals
• Implement therapy plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP
• Collect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
• Prepare therapy materials and support student engagement
• Participate in team meetings and maintain required documentation
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Active Colorado SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Colorado CDE authorization/certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
