Description:
• A full-time position for a Speech Language Pathologist is available in a preschool setting in the Bronx, NY.
• The role involves providing quality speech therapy services to children, attending team meetings, and engaging in staff development activities.
• The position requires a commitment to working Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 03:30pm.
Requirements:
• Assess speech-language skills to determine therapy needs.
• Deliver speech therapy services as mandated on the IEP.
• Consult with colleagues during team meetings.
• Engage in parent training and maintain ongoing communication.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Participate in staff development and in-service training.
• Meet regularly with a supervisor.
Qualifications:
• New York county Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities.
• Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
• NYS Professional license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
