Seeking a CF-SLP for the 2025-26 school year! Summer 2026 sessions also available. Work closely with an experienced, school-based SLP of 10 years to practice your theraputic techniques and sharpen your clinical decision-making skills in the school system. CFs will have the opportunity to work with school-aged children, ages ranging from preschool through high school, in the location of their choosing. Immediate availability in the Bronx/Manhattan (particularly the Riverdale neighborhood). Per diem pay $50 per hour, to start. PRIMARY DUTIES & FUNCTIONS: Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. General responsibilities for the CF-SLP at Child & Family Support Services will include: screening, evaluation, and diagnosis of speech-language disorders; direct therapy with preschool and/or school aged children; advocacy and collaboration with caregivers and other professionals to ensure mastery of speech-language goals. The goal of therapy is to target Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals for greater communicative success at school, in the community, and at home.
