    Position: Speech Language Pathologist

    Salary Range: $45-$50 per hour

    Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekend rotation)

    Facility: 97-bed skilled nursing facility (SNF) on a beautiful campus

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at our 97-bed skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients improve their speech and language abilities, as well as a strong understanding of the unique needs of the geriatric population.

    Responsibilities:

    - Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders

    - Provide therapy sessions to patients in accordance with their treatment plans

    - Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients

    - Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication and maintaining progress

    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

    - Stay current on advancements and best practices in speech language pathology

    Qualifications:

    - Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

    - Current state license or eligibility for state licensure

    - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a SNF setting preferred

    - Experience working with geriatric population preferred

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

    - Strong organizational and time management skills
