Position Overview

InHealth Staffing is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students within Cheltenham School District. The successful candidate will provide speech and language services to students with communication needs, helping them develop the skills necessary for academic success, social interaction, and everyday communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy and support to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Conduct speech-language assessments and evaluations as needed.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Deliver individual and group therapy services based on student needs.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare progress reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, parents, and other related service providers.
• Recommend strategies and accommodations to support communication skills in the classroom and other educational settings.
• Maintain compliance with district policies, state regulations, and applicable special education requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Pennsylvania Department of Education certification or other required school-based credentials, as applicable to the assignment.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
