• Active Missouri Speech -Language Pathologist license.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Master’s degree in Speech -Language Pathology from an accredited program.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Experience with speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and treatment.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Ability to develop therapy goals and treatment plans for adult consumers.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Behavioral health, rehabilitation, long -term care, or hospital experience preferred.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Ability to complete orientation and meet facility credentialing/security requirements.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing functions using appropriate diagnostic tests.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Develop treatment goals and speech therapy treatment plans.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Provide evidence -based therapy for speech, language, and swallowing impairments.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Determine the need for referral to a medical specialist, dentist, or counselor as appropriate.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Interpret findings for clinical staff, consumers, and caregivers.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Complete documentation in accordance with facility guidelines and policies.<\/span>

• Ensure services are delivered safely and effectively.<\/span>

• Attend required orientation prior to beginning services.<\/span>
