Location: Nevada City, CA (Scenic Gold Country / Sierra Foothills)

Estimated Compensation: $60 – $72 per hour

Job Overview

Join a supportive special education team in the heart of California’s historic Sierra Nevada foothills. We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to support K-12 students with diverse communication and language needs. You will help students break through communication barriers, grow their confidence, and succeed both socially and academically.

Key Responsibilities

• • Assess and identify speech, language, and communication deficits in K-12 students.

  • • Develop and execute individualized education programs (IEPs) and targeted therapy plans.

    • • Deliver direct and consultative therapy in individual and small group formats.

      • • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary IEP team meetings.

        • • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking via compliant school systems.

          • • Partner closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student generalization.

             

             

            Qualifications

             

            • • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

              • • Valid California SLP license.

                • • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.

                  • • School-based or pediatric clinical experience strongly preferred.

                    • • Strong knowledge of IEP procedures and school-based documentation.
