Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Itinerant Location: CP Rochester Salary: $35 per session Employment: Itinerant/12 Month position - Flexible hours and schedule Summary/Objective:Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Supervisory Responsibility: None. May supervise a SLP intern from an accredited institution periodically. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Ability to pull and push wheelchairs up to *250 - 300 pounds - maximum weight required. Travel:Travel is primarily local during the business day but employee will be expected to work at any of our partner agencies. Some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
