We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This role will support students in grades K-12 across three schools within the district.
The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and passionate about helping students strengthen the communication skills they need to succeed academically and socially.
Evaluate students with suspected speech, language, and communication disorders.
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans.
Provide direct and consultative services in individual and small-group settings.
Manage a K-12 caseload across three district schools.
Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Participate in IEP, eligibility, reevaluation, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service and progress documentation.
Complete evaluations, reports, and required paperwork within established timelines.
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, special education staff, and related-service providers.
Recommend classroom strategies, accommodations, and assistive communication supports as appropriate.
Ensure services comply with district policies and applicable state and federal requirements.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Current or eligible Pennsylvania professional licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Appropriate Pennsylvania school certification or educational specialist credential, as required.
Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA is preferred.
School-based experience and familiarity with K-12 populations are preferred.
Knowledge of IEP procedures and special education regulations.
Strong communication, organization, time-management, and documentation skills.
Ability and willingness to travel between three schools during the workweek.
