Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an acute care assignment in San Antonio, TX.
This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including medical, neurological, orthopedic, and stroke patients, in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Perform comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Treat patients across acute care settings, including bedside evaluations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Assist with program development and departmental initiatives
Active Texas SLP License
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) REQUIRED
BLS Certification (AHA)
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Strong clinical and communication skills
Schedule: Thursday–Monday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
40 hours guaranteed
Acute care hospital setting
Patient population: adults (with some NICU exposure)
Focus on stroke, neuro, ortho, and general medical cases
