Speech Language Pathologist School

Description:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting in Lacey, Washington. The ideal candidate will provide speech and language services to help students improve their communication skills and achieve their educational goals.

This is an in-person contract opportunity starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the 2026 2027 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and speech-language goals.

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their educational needs.

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals to support student success.

• Participate in meetings and contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as applicable.

• Ensure services are delivered in accordance with applicable professional standards and school requirements.

Qualifications:

• Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required and must be active and in hand at the time of submission.

• An Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential is required; the school district will expedite the process.

• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively with students, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule and Work Environment:

• In-person position in Lacey, WA.

• 37.5 hours per week.

• Start as soon as possible.

• Contract through the end of the 2026 2027 school year.
