Speech Language Pathologist School

Description:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in autism programs across two school locations in the Westminster, Colorado, area. The ideal candidate will provide speech and language services to students in grades K 8, helping them develop effective communication skills and achieve their educational goals.

This is an in-person, school-based contract opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about supporting students with diverse communication needs.

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in autism programs across two school locations.

• Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement appropriate goals to support students' communication and educational progress.

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other professionals to support student development.

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as needed.

• Adapt therapy strategies to meet the individual needs of students with autism and other communication challenges.

• Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider (SSP) License with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required at the time of submission.

• Experience providing speech and language services in a school-based setting is preferred.

• Experience working with students in autism programs is highly desirable.

• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work in person across two school locations.

Note: A separate Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) SLP license is not required for this position.

• Monday through Friday

• Eight-hour workdays

• 30-minute unpaid lunch break

• 37.5 billable hours per week

• Work Setting: In-person

• Student Population: K 8 students enrolled in autism programs

• Total Caseload: Approximately 40 students across two school locations
