Overview The Option 5 Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for administering speechlanguage and dysphagia diagnostic and treatment services to patients and maintaining appropriate records in all of the following settings of care Acute Therapy Services RaleighCary and Rehab Hospital. Position provides age specific direct patient care according to the departments scope of services and is responsible for observing and evaluating treatment effect and results and discussing them with the patient family team and management. Populations served include stroke spinal cord injury brain injury other neurological issues as well as post-surgical orthopedics multi-trauma and debility for both adults and pediatric populations. This position is in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool and has minimum shift availability requirements per calendar year.
