Speech Language Pathologist

• Local Candidates: Accepted; local rate applies to candidates residing less than 75 miles from the facility

Job Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services across inpatient acute care, acute rehabilitation, and outpatient clinic settings.
• Conduct bedside swallowing evaluations.
• Provide patient coverage across the assigned healthcare system.
• Adapt to changing patient volumes and float between care settings as needed.
• Support patient care needs across the continuum of care.

Required Qualifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
• Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required.
• Experience with bedside swallowing evaluations required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Inpatient acute hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS) preferred.
