Position Type: Direct Placement (Full-Time)
Pay Rate: $65/hr
Shift/Hours: Full-Time Days, Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our long-term care team at Samaritan Keep Home. You’ll play a vital role in improving residents’ quality of life by delivering high-quality speech therapy services across two facilities, including Samaritan Summit Village.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations of residents.
Design and implement customized speech therapy programs as referred by physicians.
Supervise and support therapy assistants and ancillary staff.
Provide cross-coverage between two long-term care facilities as needed.
Required Experience:
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in New York State
Current BLS certification
1 year of SLP experience highly preferred (not required)

Required Skills:
Patient evaluation and therapy planning
Speech and language rehabilitation
Documentation and treatment tracking
Preferred Skills:
Team collaboration and staff supervision
Geriatric and long-term care specialization
EMR familiarity in rehab settings
Additional Skills:
Ability to float between two facilities
Resident-centered communication
Experience with multi-disciplinary rehab teams
