Speech Language Pathologist

Educational Service Unit 8 is seeking in person Speech Language Pathologists to serve children in Wheeler, Pierce, Stanton, and/or Antelope county. Full time or part time positions are available.
Candidates must have good communication skills. They must be willing to work with children, parents, teachers, and administrators.
Each SLP will provide onsite speech/language therapy to students in these small school districts. Duties include: evaluating children; providing therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs; developing Individualized Education Plans or Individual Family Service Plans; and working with the MTSS team in each district.
Our SLPs work with children birth to 21 year of age.

Additional Information
Starting salary for an SLP with no experience is $53,460 for 185 day contract year.
ESU 8 accepts all years of experience when placing SLPs on the salary schedule. We provide a stipend to SLPs who have a DHHS license in addition to a Nebraska Teaching Certificate.
We provide VSP (vision insurance), Blue Cross/ Blue Shield health and dental insurance.
We have a mentoring program for new employees. We can provide supervision for your CFY.
10 paid sick days; 3 personal days; bereavement days; professional leave to attend NSHLA and/or the ASD Conference
