Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team at Coloma Community Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to school students with communication disorders. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
Conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose communication disorders in elementary school students
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address speech and language difficulties
Providing therapy services to students individually or in small groups
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement educational plans for students with communication disorders
Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Participating in meetings and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices in speech and language therapy
Requirements:
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Experience working with school students with communication disorders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and parents
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy
