    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Compensation: $90,000–$120,000/year

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat children with a wide range of speech, language, and feeding/swallowing needs, working closely with families to guide them in understanding their child's areas of need and strengths. A central part of this position is helping families support their child's intervention and carryover of skills at home, at school, and in the community, ensuring progress made in session translates into everyday life.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing evaluations for pediatric clients

    • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals based on assessment findings and each child's developmental level

    • Provide direct, evidence-based therapy for a caseload of pediatric clients with diverse communication and feeding disorders

    • Guide families in understanding their child's areas of need and strengths, translating clinical findings into clear, actionable information

    • Partner with parents and caregivers to support carryover of skills and strategies at home, at school, and in the community

    • Coordinate and communicate with teachers, pediatricians, occupational and physical therapists, and other providers involved in the child's care

    • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, including evaluation reports, SOAP notes, progress notes, and insurance-required paperwork

    • Track client progress toward goals on an ongoing basis and adjust treatment plans as needed

    • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and school-based meetings (e.g., IEP/IFSP) as needed

    • Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs, strategies, and tools to reinforce therapy outside of sessions

    • Stay current with best practices, research, and continuing education in pediatric speech-language pathology

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA)

    • Active Georgia state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain), and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

    • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with pediatric clients across a range of speech, language, and feeding/swallowing disorders

    • Strong understanding of child development and evidence-based assessment and treatment approaches for pediatric communication and feeding disorders

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with children and explain clinical concepts clearly and empathetically to parents and caregivers

    • Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and to coordinate treatment carryover across home, school, and community settings

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience supervising Clinical Fellows (CFs) or graduate student clinicians

    • Specialized training or certification (e.g., PROMPT, feeding and swallowing certifications, AAC)

    • Bilingual or multilingual skills

    • Prior experience in a private practice or pediatric outpatient setting

    TOOLS & TECHNOLOGY

    • Electronic health record / practice management systems (e.g., SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, WebPT, or similar)

    • Standardized assessment tools (e.g., CELF, PLS-5, GFTA, or comparable pediatric speech/language batteries)

    • Teletherapy platforms for virtual sessions, where applicable

    • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and apps

    • Microsoft Office / Google Workspace for documentation, scheduling, and reporting
