    POSITION TITLE: Speech Therapist

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. In this full-time role, you will provide hands-on patient care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal communication and swallowing outcomes for our patients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine patients speech, language, and swallowing needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
    • Provide direct patient care through therapeutic interventions, including speech exercises and communication strategies.
    • Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
    • Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, communication techniques, and strategies for daily living.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain accurate documentation.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Current state license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
    • Masters or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of speech therapy techniques.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
