Primary Skill:Splunk Modules: Splunk 5.x/6.x/7.x/8.x/9.x, Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, Splunk ITSI, Splunk ES, DB Connect, Enterprise Security, Palo Alto, Cisco Network Apps

• Cloud Platforms: Splunk Cloud, AWS, Azure, Terraform, Google Cloud Platform
• Operating Systems: Unix, Red Hat Linux, Windows
• Web/Application Servers: Tomcat, Apache, DB2, WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere, Nginx
• Development & Scripting: Python, Shell Scripting, Java, JavaScript, Perl, YAML, CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Git
• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB
• Security & Monitoring: CRIBL, Dynatrace, Microsoft Sentinel, Google Chronicle

Secondary:

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Roles & Responsibilities

Required minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years expert-level Splunk Architect experience
• Well-versed with search head and indexer clustering topology
• Hands-on shell scripting and Linux/Windows system administration experience
• Some expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python and/or Windows scripts
• Thorough knowledge of regular expressions
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Good communication skills and tenaciousness to drive vendors, system admins and others to deliver solutions together
• Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative technology solutions

Desired Skills

Experience with deployment tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, BladeLogic and/or AutoSys

• Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment
• Experience with other monitoring tools
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
• Splunk Enterprise Certified Administrator
• Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 a year
