Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Spot Welder to join our team. In this position, you will interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately spot weld metal components together. This is an integral part of the our fabrication process, as it provides an important roll in meeting customer drawings. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with great attention to detail and proven experience as a job shop enviroment.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
Plan layout and measurements of structural components
Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate spot welding tools for the job
Operate Amada Spot welders, use of calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools
Use Spot welding equipment
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Spot Welding / Welding
Experience in Spot Welding is preferred but can also train
Experience with a variety of welding equipment and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents and drawings
Understanding of all health and safety guidelines
Attention to detail
