Responsibilities: - Establish and maintain safe exclusion zones. Tape off active lift areas and set cones, barricades and signage so everyone can see and respect the boundaries of the work zone.
- Direct pedestrian and equipment traffic. Act as a lookout, rerouting employees, vendors, and drivers away from hazards while staying in constant radio contact with the lift operator and site supervisor
- Inspect and reset the work zone throughout the shift. When the lift moves, quickly reposition tape barriers and keep the area clear of debris and obstructions.
- Support daily safety briefings. Help review the job-hazard analysis, confirm communication signals, and record any near-miss incidents so issues are addressed right away.
- Provide general crew support. Retrieve materials, help load or unload supplies, and ride with the team between job sites as needed.
- Travel to manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and process facilities per a rolling project calendar.
