The Role

The Sprinkler Installation Supervisor leads installation technicians, the superintendent and the permit coordinator. You will forecast labor, manage schedules and project financials, and ensure every installation is code compliant and properly commissioned before final acceptance with the AHJ and customer.

What You'll Do (Essential Functions)

• Lead, schedule and motivate sprinkler installation technicians; forecast labor to match project requirements.
• Oversee sprinkler projects from start to finish: on time, within scope and within budget.
• Lead team meetings and training sessions, present to customers, contractors and leadership. This includes occasionally speaking to large groups at company and community events.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, customers, vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure installations meet local, state and federal codes and are commissioned before final acceptance testing.
• Prepare and manage project budgets; participate in cost reviews with design and sales.
• Maintain and archive complete project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular stakeholder updates.
• Train installation teams and support proposal development and reviews.
• Visit job sites to monitor progress, quality and safety.

What You Bring

Required

• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, NFPA 13 and safety regulations.
• Experience supervising field crews or managing construction projects.
• Understanding of project financials, budgets and liabilities.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred

• Ohio State Fire Marshal sprinkler certification and/or NICET Water-Based Systems certification.
• Prior experience as a sprinkler fitter or foreman.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to climb ladders, use lifts, and work at various heights.
• Able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching throughout the workday.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces or outdoor environments as needed.
• Requires occasional pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
• Must be able to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Capable of driving company vehicles and transporting equipment or materials when needed.
• Ability to remain alert and focused while performing detailed or repetitive tasks.
• Requires occasional attendance at company and community events and customer sites where groups of people are present.
