Your Role
You’ll be responsible for meeting and exceeding customer expectations by performing high-quality installations and maintenance for life safety systems.
Your Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections, testing, servicing, installation, and preventative maintenance of life safety products, as well as similar systems from other manufacturers.
Work with low-voltage wiring and devices for equipment operation.
Accurately complete Service Acknowledgements, using laptops or hard copy documentation as required.
Follow a structured inspection schedule to ensure timely service.
Input, retrieve, and archive inspection data through a computer system.
Perform minor repairs and make programming changes, under authorized supervision.
Ensure all inspections are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Take on additional tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills and Experience:
5-10 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses as per National, State, and Local codes
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and product manuals
Proficient with hand tools and multi-meters
Experience with various system types (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam)
Strong troubleshooting skills for system repairs
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment (up to 50-70 lbs)
Comfortable working in challenging environments such as ladders, scaffolding, high lifts (up to 40 feet), ducts, crawl spaces, and ceilings
Excellent customer service skills
A strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and procedures
Exceptional organizational skills, a positive attitude, and quick learning ability
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets company standards
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
Repair experience
Backflow certification
NICET Level II certification
