Your Role

You’ll be responsible for meeting and exceeding customer expectations by performing high-quality installations and maintenance for life safety systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, servicing, installation, and preventative maintenance of life safety products, as well as similar systems from other manufacturers.
• Work with low-voltage wiring and devices for equipment operation.
• Accurately complete Service Acknowledgements, using laptops or hard copy documentation as required.
• Follow a structured inspection schedule to ensure timely service.
• Input, retrieve, and archive inspection data through a computer system.
• Perform minor repairs and make programming changes, under authorized supervision.
• Ensure all inspections are completed on time and to the highest standard.
• Take on additional tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-10 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses as per National, State, and Local codes
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and product manuals
• Proficient with hand tools and multi-meters
• Experience with various system types (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam)
• Strong troubleshooting skills for system repairs
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment (up to 50-70 lbs)
• Comfortable working in challenging environments such as ladders, scaffolding, high lifts (up to 40 feet), ducts, crawl spaces, and ceilings
• Excellent customer service skills
• A strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and procedures
• Exceptional organizational skills, a positive attitude, and quick learning ability
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets company standards
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test

Preferred Qualifications:

• Repair experience
• Backflow certification
• NICET Level II certification
