    Job Title: SQL DBA ( must have Cosmos DB & Redis)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

    Work Arrangement: Hybrid - On-site Monday, Tuesday, Thursday;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Remote optional Wednesday and Friday<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

    Description<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Perform database installations, upgrades, patching, configuration, and ongoing maintenance across on? premises and cloud platforms.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Monitor database performance and proactively identify tuning opportunities, indexing strategies, and optimization improvements.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Skills:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>5-7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>5-7 years of experience with Azure SQL, including performance tuning, monitoring, and cloud-based database management.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong understanding of database architecture, indexing, query execution plans, and performance troubleshooting.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with backup/restore strategies, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Proficiency with T?SQL, scripting, and automation for database operations.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues in production environments.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Preferred / Nice-to-Have:<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>1-3 years experience with Cosmos DB (1-2 years still considered valuable).<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>1-3 years experience with Redis as a caching platform with optional persistence (1-2 years still considered valuable).<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Familiarity with cloud-native database patterns, distributed systems, and modern data architectures.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications and high-volume transactional systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
