Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including:
- PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
- Tables, views, indexes, and materialized views
- Performance tuning and query optimization
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production issues.
- Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans.
- Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards.
- Communication & Leadership Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and design reviews.
- Clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Provide status updates, risks, and dependencies to management.
- Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions on schedule.
- Document solutions thoroughly and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- Participate in client meetings and confidently present technical recommendations.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Key Skills;Primary Skill: PL/SQL
- Secondary Skill: ETL
- Tertiary Skill: SQL
- Oracle Database (12c/19c or later)
- Advanced PL/SQL development
- SQL performance tuning
- Data modeling and database design
- Version control tools (Git, Bitbucket)
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications
- Required Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to gather and clarify complex requirements
- Experience leading technical discussions and working sessions
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and business users
- Strong documentation and analytical skills
