Overview of the Senior Accountant Role:

• Perform detailed reconciliations of multiple bank accounts, ensuring accurate transaction recording and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
• 
  
• Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals.
• 
  
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, financial statements, and supporting documentation, facilitating smooth internal and external audits.
• 
  
• Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all journal entries are completed accurately and on time.
• 
  
• Contribute to financial analysis, budgeting assistance, and process improvement initiatives, driving efficiency in accounting operations.

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 
  
• 3+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, with expertise in reconciliations and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools) and experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERP systems.
• 
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external auditors.
• 
  
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in reconciliations and financial reporting.
