Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager/Senior Technical Accountant to join a growing organization. This role will support technical accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and strategic initiatives while partnering closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting readiness and development of reporting processes and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain accounting policies, technical memos, and documentation in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support internal control enhancements and related readiness initiatives.
• Partner with auditors and external advisors on accounting and reporting matters.
• Improve close processes through automation, standardization, and process improvement.
• Support acquisitions and strategic transactions, including purchase accounting and post-close integration.
• Coordinate accounting activities across systems, processes, and reporting functions.
• Support accounting for earnouts, restructuring, and other transaction-related matters.
• Advise senior leadership on accounting priorities, risks, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Legal, Operations, and other teams on cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or high-growth private company experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial close processes, and technical accounting.
• Experience with internal controls, financial reporting, acquisitions, and integrations.
• Strong leadership, project management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems in a growing organization.
