As a Sr Agronomic Sales Advisor, you create chemistry by...

• Creating demand for BASF seed, crop protection, and seed treatment products while serving as a trusted advisor on agronomics, seed varieties, and crop solutions.
• Establishing strategic business and agronomic plans with key growers, acting as the primary BASF contact to support both short and long-term business objectives.
• Developing and executing territory plans for seed, crop protection, and seed treatment products, while building strong partnerships with internal teams and retail customers to achieve shared goals.
• Driving seed growth opportunities through retailer engagement, joint customer visits, and targeted product positioning to maximize performance on every acre.
• Managing sales plans, forecasts, product positioning, and revenue targets with assigned retailers, while accurately forecasting demand and delivering financial results.
• Cultivating strong relationships with sales teams, technical service representatives, and strategic account managers to support customer success and business growth.
• Developing and implementing market strategies, product launches, and territory growth plans that identify key opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive long-term business performance.

If you...

• Have a Bachelors Degree and knowledge and previous sales experience with agronomics, seed varieties and chemistry.
• Bring 5+ years sales experience with 8+ years overall experience.
• Possess strong business acumen and agronomic skills for seed and crop protection.
• Have experience working well in a team environment with a positive attitude and creativity.
• Successfully engage across the business.
• Have strong computer skills, as well as experience with Digital Tools such as SalesForce and Xarvio.

Pay transparency

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $110,960 - $152,570. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
