10+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and deploying applications with a focus on backend
Experience building and designing scalable backend systems
Experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise with development experience in Java 17/21 and Python with building RESTful backend applications using Spring Boot
Experience in designing, building and maintaining high-thought put low latency data pipelines using Apache Kafka
Experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud services (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, IAM)
Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
Effective use of AI tools in your own day-to-day work
Familiarity with software engineering development cycles
Commitment to writing meaningful unit tests and integration tests
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work at least 3 days out of our Pasadena office
