Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer to support a highly automated medical device manufacturing environment in AZ area. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on controls, industrial robotics, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and automated manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience troubleshooting automation systems, recovering and reconfiguring industrial robots, programming PLCs and Ladder Logic, and supporting production equipment reliability. Experience with 6-axis robotics, machine vision, and camera-integrated automation systems is highly preferred.

Job Requirements

• Strong hands-on Controls/Automation Engineering experience in an automated manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of Ladder Logic and controls troubleshooting.

• Experience with industrial robotics and 6-axis robotic systems.

• Hands-on experience with robot programming, recovery, reconfiguration, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to diagnose automation and equipment issues affecting manufacturing operations.

• Experience supporting production equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement.

• Ability to work directly on manufacturing equipment in an onsite production environment.

• Experience with machine vision and camera-integrated systems is preferred.

• Experience with robotic component repair, replacement, and system optimization is a plus.

• Medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Willingness to provide occasional on-call or weekend support as required.
