Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our high-impact banking project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot, along with deep expertise in DevOps practices, tools, and AWS deployments. This role requires a proactive professional who can design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, integrate security tools, and automate infrastructure using industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Project Involvement:
Contribute to a mission-critical banking project by ensuring robust, secure, and efficient DevOps practices.
Collaborate closely with development teams to support Java-based microservices built with Spring Boot.
CI/CD & Security:
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Integrate Veracode and Qualys security tools into DevOps pipelines to ensure code security and regulatory compliance.
AWS Deployment:
Deploy applications using AWS ECS and Lambda.
Utilize AWS Secrets Manager and other AWS-native tools for secure and efficient application management.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.
Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks.
Containerization:
Implement and manage Docker containers for application deployment, scaling, and orchestration.
Additional DevOps Responsibilities:
Leverage a wide array of DevOps tools and best practices to deliver reliable solutions and resolve technical challenges.
Stay current with emerging DevOps trends and technologies to drive continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10 12 years in DevOps, with a strong focus on:
Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Cloud Deployment
Proficiency in GitLab for CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
Hands-on experience integrating Veracode and Qualys into security pipelines.
Expertise in deploying applications on AWS ECS, Lambda, and managing secrets via AWS Secrets Manager.
Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
Proficiency with Docker for containerization and microservices deployment.
Additional Skills:
Familiarity with other DevOps tools and platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.
Must-Have Skills:
AWS Deployment: Hands-on with ECS, Lambda, and AWS Secrets Manager.
Infrastructure as Code & Containerization: Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and Docker.
CI/CD & Security Integration: Experience with GitLab, Veracode, and Qualys.
Development Knowledge: Solid background in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
