Sr Azure Architect

IDR is seeking a Sr Azure Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role will lead the design and implementation of enterprise Microsoft Azure solutions, partnering closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud capabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven organization in the healthcare space focused on enabling better outcomes through modern technology.

Position Overview for the Sr Azure Architect:

• Lead end-to-end Azure solution architecture across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS to meet business and technical objectives
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating needs into scalable, secure Azure designs and implementation plans
• Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex architecture and delivery challenges
• Define cloud standards and best practices (governance, security, resiliency), partnering with security and compliance teams as needed
• Contribute to project scoping, documentation, and solution planning in support of delivery and proposals

Requirements for the Sr Azure Architect:

• 10+ years of experience leading enterprise Azure implementations and cloud architecture efforts
• Expert-level experience designing and deploying solutions across the Microsoft Azure platform (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Strong automation and scripting background (e.g., PowerShell and Infrastructure-as-Code approaches)
• Infrastructure design experience spanning networking, security, and database technologies in enterprise environments
• Advanced knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk management principles in cloud environments
