Job Summary (List Format) for Sr Backend Developer
- Position: Sr Backend Developer - Location: Dallas, TX (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) or New York, NY - Duration: Ongoing contract (no specified end date)
Key Requirements: - 8-10+ years of software engineering experience - Strong Python development skills - Experience with FastAPI and REST API development - Strong SQL and database experience - Extensive Azure/cloud platform experience - Proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps practices - Proven ability to build and support production applications - Able to work independently and take ownership of deliverables - Excellent communication skills
Highly Preferred Skills: - Experience with OpenAI, LangChain, LangGraph, Anthropic APIs - Experience with Azure OpenAI and Databricks - Background in building AI-powered applications
Other Notes: - Mandatory coding test to be completed within 24 hours for client submission - LinkedIn profile must show connections and activity - OPT candidates must have visa validity for more than 2 years - Candidates with degrees from Osmania University will not be considered - Preference for candidates with stable work history and willingness to stay long-term - Gaps in employment must be explained with solid reasoning
