Sr Business Analyst

Pay Range: $32/hr - $40/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit and manage requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.
• Develop and prepare business and functional requirements for departmental and corporate projects.
• Communicate and validate requirements with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain requirements traceability and adhere to solution scope.
• Drive business readiness activities, including communication plans to support changes in technology and processes.
• Conduct focused analysis to ensure efficiency in project implementations.
• Design and conduct post-implementation audits and create feedback mechanisms for ongoing process improvement.
• Analyze workflow processes, test, and implement solutions while identifying organizational impacts.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools to measure business performance against metrics and benchmarks.
• Provide timely access to data and present findings to various business areas.
• Work with trainers to develop targeted training programs.
• Utilize industry-standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling and business process mapping.
• Independently create presentations for leadership review and document all analysis thoroughly.
• Proactively identify business risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Build and support strong vendor relationships by documenting business issues and project needs.
• Oversee and perform peer reviews for less experienced analysts.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly in claims and appeals.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical offerings.
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
